Martin Klaudiny

Martin Klaudiny is a principal software engineer at PTC Reality Lab. He has worked on computer vision problems behind augmented reality solutions since 2017. He was a part of a prototyping team for Vuforia Engine product. Before he also worked at AR agency Twnkls on various customer projects.

Prior to AR, Martin was a researcher in the area of human motion capture for VFX and game industries. He held postdoc positions at University of Surrey and Disney Research in UK.

Martin obtained a PhD degree in a topic of face performance capture at University of Surrey. He did his bachelor’s and master’s studies in computer science at Brno University of Technology in Czechia.

His focus areas at Reality Lab are human motion tracking, integration of Vuforia Engine features and more broadly any topics related to computer vision/machine learning.
