Over the past decade, the simple, classic design of the skateboard has undergone dramatic improvements in both design and experience. However, due to intense competition in the field, engineers now must work harder and faster to bring their product to market. That’s exactly the challenge SoulArc Boards co-founders, Salvatore Vilardi and Mitch Mulder faced. Since launching the company in 2008, Vilardi and Mulder spent a lot of time building physical tests that delayed product launches. They needed a solution that would help streamline cross-functional data transfers, cut the lead time in half, and stand out among the competition.

SoulArc Boards’ engineering team modified designs on the fly and created organic, free-form shapes - a major factor in SoulArc Board designs.
