E-books deliver a longer, often more complex narrative to your audience.

E-books present a great opportunity to deliver more detailed information to your audience. While these assets are expected to be on the longer side, avoid extraneous exposition where possible. Stick to the facts and PTC’s stance to deliver valuable storytelling and thought leadership worthy of the personal information users often contribute to gain access to this type of resource.

Length Best Practices: 2,000–5,000 words

Design Notes
Use landscape layout. E-books are not strongly templated, they’re more like a magazine—allowing for more unique visuals. Often tied to a larger campaign, visual elements from a strong, full bleed hero image on the cover are carried through to subsequent pages. PTC green/gray colors and icons are still used throughout.
