Gradient Rules

Don’t mix colors from the palette—keep the gradient within the same tone.

Combining colors within the same family of tone is allowed. For example secondary green mixed with primary PTC green, as well as secondary grey and primary PTC grey.

Make sure the range of color does not go above or below 3 steps from the base tone in the palette.

Make sure there’s enough contrast for text on the background. White text needs to use a darker gradient. Ensure dark text has a lighter background gradient for contrast ratios.
